Heresy: 1897 [Immersive Theatre]Doors Of DivergenceEscape roomIRLThis room is an escape room on steroids. It feels like you’re doing an escape room in a movie. I didn’t understand the room at first. I thought the live actor was an enemy and we weren’t suppose to listen to them, but it’s the opposite. They’re helping you through the room and you should listen to what they say. They’re trying to guide you. Even tho it may seem sinister at first. The puzzles were a lot of fun, and super relevant to the storyline.
Ghost LightMyssTic RoomsEscape roomIRLOne of my favorite rooms in nyc. This is a full package escape room. The storyline to puzzles/clues relationships is done very well here. This room is really thought out. I had a lot of fun in this room.
PlaygroundThe Escape Game - New YorkEscape roomIRLThis rooooom, the most fun I ever had in an escape room. Go with a group of friends, it really makes you feel like a kid again. The set decoration is superb. The room wasn’t easy, you need eyes everywhere, make sure you don’t only have 2 people in your group.

The Haunted HotelBrainXcape Escape Room NYCEscape roomIRLI did rikers first and really enjoyed it, I definitely didn’t enjoy this room like I enjoyed rikers. The room is very well designed and super immersive but it just wasn’t… fun? The puzzles weren’t that great and seemed pointless at times. Overall the room was okay in a spooky sense. But outside of that it wasn’t much to write home to. If you’re stuck between this room and rikers go with rikers. It also has the spooky aspect to it
The Magic CrystalExit Escape Room NYCEscape roomIRLI didn’t love the room, but people who aren’t really into escape rooms might enjoy it. I didn’t find the set design or clues to be memorable. It’s a small room so don’t go with a large group.
