The owners are experienced enthusiasts who’ve brought a variety of design and construction talents to their sophomore escape room, and it shows. The puzzles here are a real standout, with a real depth of content featuring unique multilayered solves and excellent signposting. The set here is delightful, too - the handmade wall treatment is especially memorable, the artwork feels bespoke and customized for the gameplay, and all of the props are well built and maintained. You’ll feel like you’ve stepped into another world when you walk through the door to start the game. I think the choice of a circus theme was ideal to get the most out of their square footage in a neat vintage school building repurposed as a multi-tenant community center. If you’re an enthusiast in New England, you owe it to yourself to take a field trip - the TERPECA nomination is well deserved and puzzle fiends will find this game particularly satisfying. Well done and I can’t wait to see what the team builds next!
Quest For The Merlion Eye [Outdoor]Nomis Piy Escape - OnlineEscape roomIRLGreat outdoor puzzle hunt to explore Singapore. Takes you to many of the most interesting neighborhoods of the country, so I’d recommend starting the hunt at the beginning of your trip. Many good opportunities along the way to pause for refreshments while solving. This game is very much in the style of the SCRAP Tokyo Metro hunts, so if you’ve enjoyed those, this is a great Singaporean version to enjoy! Nomis Piy was quite helpful in arranging for delivery of the game kit to our accommodations as well.
