Jurassic ToursNW Escape ExperienceEscape roomIRLLot's of fun - good Easter eggs for dad and nice interactive puzzles for the kids. Our game master really made the experience special for them.
Star Trek Discovery: Damage ControlEscapology - Raleigh HillsEscape roomIRLThe room was -fine- some fun Trek stuff, but felt there could have been more. However, our experience is why the corporate style of automatic hints and no personal game master is far from ideal. After a good start we kept getting stuck. The hints weren't much help and obviously automatic as they weren't addressing what we were stuck on. A couple time we had to just cycle through the hints until they gave us the code to enter. After getting out we realized there was a big screen that was supposed to be on, that never turned on for us. So we were missing a bunch of clues. Now it's bad enough they didn't have a camera on the screen or that clearly no one was watching us. But when asking for a discount we kept being told that the big screen really only affected the very last puzzle. But when we'd ask about the other puzzles we were getting stuck on, we'd get a blank stare, then they'd go check on something, and come back and ba all "oh and that one." How do the employees not know how to get the solutions to the puzzles in the rooms??
