Lifelong Halloween enthusiast turned Escape Room enthusiast turned Escape Room designer and owner turned haunted attraction owner. If not for this app, I would not have realized how many haunts I have visited over the last 30 years. I had been playing games since the industry started in Oklahoma but I became hooked on what an escape room could be when I visited 13th Gate in Baton Rouge. Going on the HAA's Legendary Haunt Tours and Escape Room Tours have allowed me to see a lot of places over the last decade that I might not have gone to otherwise because of distance. I own and designed Baker Street Escapes which opened in 2017 and features literary themed games. I wanted to have an educational element in our games to get people interested in reading the books that the games were based on. After 7 years of success and a lot of happy memories created with our players we have opened a second location which is our own, made from scratch theme. Baker Street Escapes presents the Bureau of Sequential Time & Anomalies is a multi-episode immersive entertainment escape room adventure. There will be 10 episodes total when the space is fully completed and nine of the games can be played as stand-alone adventures for players that don't live in the area and only want to play the themed episodes that might appeal to them. Players have access to a Passport system which keeps track of the various endings they might have gotten in their episode (each episode has multiple outcomes possible that can affect future storylines in other episodes). So far our first episode, The Time Travelers, has opened up to really positive feedback and excitement from the players. Episode Two: Blast from the Past opens winter 2024 and we are very excited.
