I just wished my team agreed to ask for clues early on instead of trying to figure things out on our own (which is not bad, but clock is ticking!). Overall, very creative theme and storyline for an escape room, just not ... my favorite since I'm not into futuristic-themed escape rooms. And ... I think some of the puzzles in the room weren't working properly so that most definitely negatively affected our gameplay experience. Overall, it's great! It just didn't live up to its hype.
40 ThievesMindTrap Escape Room - TemeculaEscape roomIRLOne of the escape rooms with the best set design! 😲😱 I was in awe when I saw this room for the 1st time! Very beautiful with mutiple non-linear puzzles to keep your team going in under 60 minutes. I was just in a team of 2 and I was sooo shocked that we escaped. With the number of puzzles in that room that ranges from easy to medium to hard in difficulty, I was really expecting not to make it. Idk who is responsible for designing this room, but a huge props to them for blowing away people's minds. So creative, unique. 🪔 Ohh and a quick tip for anyone wanting or planning to do this room soon: KNOW YOUR ANIMALS. 😆🤣
Treasure IslandBrain Games Escape RoomEscape roomIRLWhat a fun room! Very memorable since I got to do this room on my birthday. I loved everything about this room! The storyline, set design, the creative puzzles ... you can even drink the beverages in the fridge! I loved this room so much that it shot up on my Top 5 Best ER of 2025. I highly recommend this room to everyone --- novices and experts escape room enthusiasts alike! Overall, 10/10. 🏴☠️🦜💰
The Last SupperQuest TavernEscape roomIRLOne of my all time favorite escape rooms! Quest Tavern is simply the best. Their staff is amazing, friendly, and accommodating! And they even let you dress up, how awesome is that? I love being immersed to the theme of the room. 😁 Also, they have the goodest boy, Milo, who they allowed to partake in The Last Supper with Lord Garrick (Commander Snow) at the very end. It just made the overall experience so magical and enjoyable. 😁🐕
Irvine School of Wizardry and the Goblin's SecretsHidden DonkeyEscape roomIRLHidden Donkey is one of the best escape rooms in OC! They currently only have 2 escape rooms, but I love both! I do prefer the other one over this escape room just because the other room had more puzzles and the puzzles were more intricate. BUT this one is definitely more theatrical. I can't wait what they have in store for us next! #teamslytherin 🐍
Lab RatHatch EscapesEscape roomIRLFinally got to do this escape room and I got to say it lived up to its reputation. It didn't disappoint at all. From the production set to the storyline to our GM, everything was crafted with passion. I was very impressed. This has got to be one of my favorite escape rooms of all time. Ohh, and I remember our GM telling us that we didn't break the all-time record for Labrat, but our team did get the best record so far for the year 2025. 🥳
Moriarty's ManorMindFox EscapeEscape roomIRLOne of my most favorite escape rooms of all time! 😁 We escaped this room by the skin of our teeth. 😅😮💨 I love, love the theme of this room and the storyline. I love that the puzzles were creative and challenging ... and the props in the rooms just create the perfect ambiance. There were also multiple rooms ... 🤭 So you may think you're about to escape, but nope ... there's another room with new sets of puzzles to solve. 😆 Overall, very fun room. It deserves all the awards it got through the years, a must escape room for Sherlock Holmes fans. 🔎
The Hex RoomCross Roads Escape GamesEscape roomIRLYou really have to do this room with people you're familiar with (close/good friends, family, etc.) Because communication is a huge part of puzzle solving and escaping the room. When I did this room, I did it with 3 other people I can communicate relatively well, and 2 others who I just met ... so go figure on what happened during the escape room. Communication was a huge issue, we almost didn't escape. The others tried as best as they can to coax the people who weren't too keen on talking to communicate with the rest of the team, but it was like pulling teeth because we can't physically help solve puzzles in the room. So that was my biggest tip to successfully escape this room, bring people who are good at communicating and are determined to escape. 😁
The Bridge BetweenQuest TavernEscape roomIRLA masterpiece! A truly amazingly designed escape room with puzzles that are well-thought out. Very cute storyline too. 🤭 The only downside was that I could barely hear the hints/clues from the GM (maybe it has something do with my difficulties of listening to high pitched voice with certain accents) BUT overall, very well done room. 👏🏼
Winnie The PoohMindTrap Escape Room - MurrietaEscape roomIRLI do NOT care what anyone says, BUT this was the best party I've ever attended and one of the cutest escape rooms ever! C'mon, you're preparing a surprise for Pooh bear because it's his bday, how cute is that? The set design created the perfect atmosphere, vibe, and ambiance that makes one really feel like as if you're in Hundred Acre woods. Ohh, and the floating Pooh bear was sooo cute! 😭🥹 Everyone just have to do this for the experience. You won't regret it, and if you do, you may be an Eeyore. 🤭 The puzzles were very doable ... nothing crazy, very cute and family-friendly. 😁🧸
