13th BasementExit Game OC - AnaheimEscape roomIRLi'm not a big fan of scary rooms but this one was just scary enough and so well-made. One of my favorite rooms in all of Orange County. Did it with just two people and it was manageable so I think two or three is the right size group. Owners/game masters were so nice and personable and I just absolutely loved them.

Well put together, some new and interesting puzzle types that I haven't seen or rarely see, and just generally a well put together room that flowed nicely. It's too bad that our game master was so out of it because he nearly ruined the experience.
Cyberpunk SamuraiMaze Rooms - LAXEscape roomIRLall sizzle, no steak. cool set pieces and lots of interesting mechanics and tech, but not intuitive puzzle. you find yourself just trying stuff for the hell of it and somehow that works.
SenselessEntangled - Orange [prev. Code Red Escape Rooms]Escape roomIRLcompared to the other rooms at entangled, this one is a bit of a letdown. I've heard they're getting rid of it and that's probably for the better because it doesn't live up to their other rooms. Some interesting puzzles, but all in all pretty basic, just one room, and about 50% of the puzzles all are part of a giant puzzle cube. Also the theme doesn't really show up at all.
