Scene of the CrimeEscape2Win ClevelandEscape roomIRLAbsolutely would recommend this location. The black and white theming in the Scene of the Crime room was a very cool touch.
High Noon SaloonEscape Room Virginia BeachEscape roomIRLThere’s more to this room than it seems. Go fast! This room was great, and I would definitely recommend this place. Atmosphere and quality of rooms is great, puzzles were many. It had better theming than other places we’ve been. Definitely on the better end of the spectrum.
Algernon’s Shop of Magical GoodsEscape Room RVAEscape roomIRLOverall excellent theming, story took a nice turn, some surprises were nice! A couple puzzles we did right but were finicky so that the GM had to help us do it just right to get the clue. Agree with LockedandLoaded’s review.
TitanicThe Escape Game - GeorgetownEscape roomIRLWe loved this room and experience so much in terms of how well down the theme was, that we immediately booked a second room the same day!
Prison BreakEscapism GamesEscape roomIRLOverall this was a very pleasant experience. We will come back to do the Escape the 80s soon. Wanting to book another room is a good indicator of a great escape business. Not the most themed, but definitely a great experience, and cheaper than others we’ve done so it’s definitely more bang for your buck!
Museum HeistBreakout Games - RichmondEscape roomIRLThe overall experience was good. It is in a mall though, so the entrance area was super tiny. The game masters were friendly. The puzzles were fun and varied. I love multiple rooms in one experience which this had. Theming and decor could be improved, but solid fundamentals. No picture at the end though and no souvenirs. We literally walked 10 feet out to the mall and walked away very anti-climactically.
Kidnapping 2: Afraid of the DarkBreakout Games - Virginia BeachEscape roomIRLOverall I like the concept of this room, but it is a almost too dense with puzzles. I swear either one lock was out of order, or the game needs a re-ordering of the lock for a better flow. 5 locks worked towards part of the final puzzle. 4 were in one location, and 1 completely separate. The separate one was 2 of 5, and we didn’t use the contents until the end. It felt very disjointed and pulled us out of the experience quite a bit. The first half of our time was mixed fun and frustration. Once we got past the issue I mentioned, everything else flowed more smoothly and the end of the experience was great.
