The Wizards PubRoom Escape WilliamsburgEscape roomIRLThe room was great and had a cool Harry Potter themed atmosphere. Our game master was Sean and he was cool. Some puzzles were harder than the rest but that was fine. The one issue my party had was there is a puzzle that uses sensors and it malfunctioned during our time. The issue was resolved but we wasted 15 minutes trying to figure it out until our game master fixed it. We were not given more time or reimbursed but other than that the room itself was cool. It just sucked that this was my group’s first escape room and we had a technical issue occur.
Cold Case Murder of Dawn ReneeOB-Xscape RoomsEscape roomIRLThe game is a bit spooky but not too much. The atmosphere is very nice and the game was great to play. Most of the puzzles are combination locks but there are unique ways to find the codes. The room has been recently updated so it is not as dark as other reviews say it is. Our guide was Walker and he was great as he gave us up to 5 hints and he was a joy to talk to through the game. He also perfectly timed some jump scares but I’ll let you guys figure out for yourself what those scares are. There was a live actor too which was cool. Not a scary one, just one to help with a puzzle. Overall I’d say this was a great experience and my group will definitely return in the future!
