Invasion60 to Escape - MilwaukeeEscape roomIRLWhat a great escape experience. This room had so much more to offer than I had anticipated. Great set pieces, engaging gameplay, and a fun main character guiding us through, all leading to a surprising choice at one point. There was one instance where the game master’s computer glitched out and they had to come in to let us know they could still provide hints but may need to step in to do so. Besides that, this was a challenging room that will test you all the way throughout. Great job, 60 to Escape!
Cosmic CrisisThe Escape Game - AustinEscape roomIRLOverall, this was en enjoyable experience. This game is one of the newer ones at this chain, and they have definitely added elements that are unique to most escape games out there. The story was fun, the set was engaging, and the use of high tech was a delight. The difficulty was about medium-high, but my group of 8 that participated was able to handle it well. I’d say the ideal amount of people to bring in would be about 4-5 considering the room size. Definitely give this a shot when you can!
Parkside PrisonSeven Keys to EscapeEscape roomIRLIt’s always interesting to find smaller escape rooms that are out of the way, and Seven Keys really showed that they care for making something special with what space they have. Definitely a more mechanical based room with plenty of locks, but some more electronic based ones further in. Quite the unique hint system that I’ve not seen done before, too! The game master was nice and accommodating to our group after we mistakenly booked for the wrong day and made sure we could come in when we meant to. And the room apparently cycles out each year. I’d recommend giving them a chance if you haven’t already!
