They hype this one up as their “most difficult room” so I was expecting some complex puzzles but tbh there were just a lot of simpler puzzles. This game really does do the “normal setting becomes sci-fi” trope in a fun and funny way, and the gameplay is a good time! The puzzles themselves weren’t mind blowing or super clever but they were still fun! Puzzle flow was a little awkward at times but not super stilted. Overall, a solid game! I’d say definitely worth playing if you’re local and one to put on the list if you’re traveling.

Another great game from 60 to Escape. Great gameplay all around, cinematics on point. Fun story and varied puzzles. Definitely on the harder side, make sure to keep a good pace running

The set is impressive in quality, but I had some issues with puzzles. In particular, one puzzle was frustratingly ambiguous, with our team coming up with several reasonable interpretations. In the end, the GM nudged us that *none* of them were correct and we were overthinking things - the puzzle we thought we were trying to solve was cooler than the actual intended one. This then put us a bit on tilt, which made the rest of the game less fun because we weren't sure if we could trust it. I didn't love the plot - while it was unusual, I was left with an unresolved question about the in-game timeline of events which felt unsatisfying, and would have preferred a different ending.

The entire group will have to crawl at one point, and then back again. While someone could theoretically avoid this, they'd miss out on a decent chunk of gameplay.

This is a good room that’s probably worth doing if you’re in the area (but it’s not so good that I’d travel for it). The set is immersive and the puzzles were pretty good. They said this is the hardest room but we found the puzzles more straightforward than the pirate room. That said, I’ve been to plenty of other rooms where the story, puzzles, and set came together better. One thing that’s kind of obnoxious about this company is that they upsell you on getting unlimited hints (versus the built-in 6). We ended up only needing 4 but paid the extra just in case. It feels nickel-and-dimey to charge $15 for more hints.

Very immersive and unique room. Lots of puzzles and a mostly linear sequence with just enough challenge and time to complete it.
A little too many interventions from the game master, game flow could have been a little better.
Front desk staff were pretty childish and unprofessional

Loved the theme, build, atmosphere, and puzzles! It is a mostly linear experience, but puzzles felt intuitive and satisfying. There are several rooms to get through, without anything feeling particularly frustrating. One puzzle is slightly finicky, but we managed well enough.

Rating: 4.5/5 - Really fun room, it was immersive due to a high quality set and great use of sound and lighting. Loved the storyline, it had humor and twists. Definitely one of my favorites from 60 to Escape. Pros: -Highly immersive -Lighting and sound was very well done -Tons of tech -Padlocks were minimal and they were used where appropriate -Varied puzzles with good flow, we never felt stuck -Strong storyline with unexpected twists and humor -Fun ending -Interesting hint system -Helpful and friendly GM -Lots of opportunities for teamwork Cons: -No real cons but my only nitpick is that I wish more of the story had a visual element instead of being mostly audio only. We played as a team of 4 and that felt just about right, I'd recommend 3-4 but I think it is playable by 2 experienced enthusiasts. UPDATE: My ranking of 60 to Escape rooms (all locations) so far starting with my favorite. 1. Lockbuster Video ❤️ 2. Cheesie's Pizza Party ❤️ 3. Invasion ❤️ 4. Mystery Manor ❤️ 5. Hidden Temple ❤️ 6. Blast From The Past 👍 7. Jurassic Outpost 👍 8. Arctic Expedition 👍 9. Magic Heist 👍

The narrative in this room is fun and engaging. It's a lighter and more humorous take on the subject than some others. The puzzles are varied and unique. This is a challenging room, but fair in how things link together.

Probably the second best room at 60 to escape milwaukee, most definetly their hardest! The room balances your misunderstandings of what the room -could- be and what it is actually, with lingering fears of what the rooms name actually has to do with the room itself (a very fun twist!). While a tad creepy it is deffinetly not scary. While some say the room suffers from having puzzles not feel directy obvious I think this is part of the charm and mystery the room holds. The only lacking part is the second to last discoverable part in the game- a fairly lackluster hallway, but beyond that the theming and set design is awesome as 60 to escape quality normally Is. Overall very good and hard room that I would recommend to any more seasoned enthusiast!
