Alice Im Wunderland [Alice In Wonderland]
CineRoom Bamberg
Escape room
IRL
Alice in Wonderland. A great all-rounder room. The puzzles were well thought out and fit the theme, though they were fairly easy. The room is definitely a great experience for younger guests as well. The decorations were fantastic (especially the last room). A small highlight for our group was the beginning (but I won't say more about that). All in all, a solid room. 8/10 would definitely recommend.
Alien BBQ [Alien Grill]
Illuminati Escape
Escape room
IRL
A real solid escape room! It started pretty easy in the beginning but got exceptionally harder at one point. If you stay well-organized and communicate effectively, it's not a problem though. The story was fine, but the room is definitely puzzle-oriented. It was not lock driven which i appreciated a lot. I personally really liked the decoration and was a big fan of the theme implementation. The Illuminati game masters were very accommodating and friendly. 9/10 must play.
Artefakt [Artifact]
Escape Room Rosenheim
Escape room
IRL
I would describe Artifakt as a great escape room classic. It offers a nice experience but doesn’t stand out as exceptional. The puzzles range from easy to medium in difficulty. The game master was friendly, and the hints were not too direct, which is always appreciated. 6.5/10 would recommend.
Asylum of Fear [prev. Das Sanatorium]
Horror Stories
Escape room
IRL
My Favorite Horror Room Right now. It was our Groups first Horrror Room and what can I say, but they delivered. The Actors were absolutely amazing, Before, during and after the game. The Puzzles were a good difficulty for the type of Room (Beeing terrified kinda restricts your rational thinking xD ) The armosphere was unbelievable creepy and i was so scared. My Favorite Escape Room Right Now 10/10 must play
Beast Of Berlin
The Room
Escape room
IRL
"Beast of Berlin" tells the story of a murderer, and we, as players, need to catch him. It's a concept that has been used in many escape rooms before, but "The Room" has absolutely convinced me. The puzzles were difficult (in my opinion, the hardest room from "The Room - Berlin"), and I loved them. There were so many moments of "Wait, does that really work?" or "Haha, it was really back there!" The room was extremely satisfying, though challenging. The sound design stood out positively to me, I was really afraid at one point (even though the room had no actors!). This effect was achieved through perfect lighting, sound, and object placement, and I am thrilled. The game masters were, as always, fantastic! 10/10 must play.
Blutrausch [Bloodlust]
Escape Room Rosenheim
Escape room
IRL
"Blutrausch" (Bloodlust) was one of my first rooms, and I still find it great. I greatly appreciate that it is non-linear. The decoration is excellent, I really enjoy the puzzles, and the music is well-chosen. Another solid room from Escape Room Rosenheim! I would rate the difficulty as "medium" for experienced players and "hard" for beginners. We had a lot of fun in the room and will always remember it as a great experience. One of the strongest Rooms of Escape Room Rosenheim 8.5/10. Would Recommend
Death Live
EscapeWorld Stuttgart in Fellbach
Escape room
IRL
Death Live is an extremely unique room, and I haven't played anything like it since (34 rooms at the time of this review). Essentially, it consists of a room with mini-games that are time-limited (pure stress but super fun!). The mini-games were all well thought out and very enjoyable. This is further complemented by the fact that it is also a battle room, which fits perfectly for this setup. We had so much fun and were so pleasantly surprised! 10/10 must play for the unique experience.
Der Schlüsselmacher [The Key Maker]
ExitGames Stuttgart
Escape room
IRL
I enjoyed the room. I found the theme very interesting and definitely something different. When playing the room, there are definitely some laugh-out-loud moments. The age rating is absolutely justified – no minors! The puzzles were good and all very fitting to the room's theme. I would rate the difficulty as medium for experienced players and hard for beginners, but everything is doable. Our gamemaster was also great, and we were very warmly welcomed! 6.5/10 – would recommend.
Der Stein Der Weisen
Black Fox World
Escape room
IRL
Thousands of "Do not Touch" Stickers. That annoyed me to no end and kinda ruined the experience. They are making all of their Rooms from Scratch -> Bonus points for that. The Puzzles were on the easy side, but that is okay. Just ...the stickers.... I really wanna give the Room a better score but in the end i have to say 3/10 Do not Recommend
Der Uhrmacher [The Watchmaker]
AdventureRooms GaPa
Escape room
IRL
Overall, a good room. The puzzles were innovative and creative, which I really appreciated. We were only two, which made things a bit challenging. There was a lot to discover, and the ideal group size is probably around 4 people. The only thing that slightly bothered me was the number of keypads/combination locks. Not overwhelming, but noticeable. However, the numbers were mostly linked with clever puzzles, so it wasn’t too bad. The decoration could have been a bit more developed, but that’s just a minor detail. One thing they could really change: There was no music, which felt kinda weird. One of the rooms was technically very impressive. All in all: it was a solid experience. 7/10 would recommend.
