The Lost Treasure Of Alexander Von HumboldtThe RoomEscape roomIRLOne of a Kind experience. I do not want to say more. Just play it 10/10 must play
Geisterjäger Brandon Darkmoor [Ghosthunter Brandon Darkmoor]The RoomEscape roomIRLThe room was incredible. Atmosphere and story were truly exceptional, and you felt like you were in a Ghostbusters movie. What you should note: In this room, the focus is not on the puzzles (which were quite simple) but on the experience. This is brought to life by incredibly talented actors and special effects. 10/10 Must play.
The Dark ForestHorror StoriesEscape roomIRLAnother masterpiece by Escape Stories Wuppertal. The Dark Forest definitely deserves its place on the Terpeca list and I have never been so scared in my life. xD The introduction was an experience in itself. Really 10/10 for the actors. The puzzles were simple but fitting for the scenario. Anyone who has played a horror room knows that logical thinking is limited. The atmosphere was absolutely terrifying and put your nerves to the test. 10/10 must play.
The Golden PhoenixMiraculumEscape roomIRLThe Golden Phoenix. The best "wizard-themed room" I've played so far. The special effects were incredible, and it really felt like being in a movie. There were a lot of funny and "wow" moments. (The hint system is also insanely immersive and fun.) It must be noted: this room is an experience room. The focus is on immersion, and the puzzles take a back seat. People who are very puzzle-focused players will be disappointed. 10/10 must play for experience focussed players
Asylum of Fear [prev. Das Sanatorium]Horror StoriesEscape roomIRLMy Favorite Horror Room Right now. It was our Groups first Horrror Room and what can I say, but they delivered. The Actors were absolutely amazing, Before, during and after the game. The Puzzles were a good difficulty for the type of Room (Beeing terrified kinda restricts your rational thinking xD ) The armosphere was unbelievable creepy and i was so scared. My Favorite Escape Room Right Now 10/10 must play
FrankensteinMiraculumEscape roomIRLI LOVED this room. I really liked the setting and the decoration. I felt as if I had been teleported into the book. The puzzles were great and technically impressive. Everything worked perfectly, and the finale was amazing—a real "wow" moment. I would rate the difficulty of the puzzles as "medium." What stands out is the introduction. It was incredibly immersive and well done! Our game master absolutely blew us away, and we were excited from the very first moment. There was only one skill-based puzzle that slightly frustrated us, but it’s being removed and replaced (yay for that!). 10/10 must play.
Go WestThe RoomEscape roomIRLGo West is another great room from "The Room - Berlin". Of the 4 rooms this was my least favorite. But that doesn't mean it's bad! The Room-Berlin sets an incredible standard for escape rooms. Overall, the puzzles good (Medium Difficulty) only the theme didn't particularly impress me (Is definitely a "me" problem though ;P ). It felt more like a meme room than anything else. (Which is good!) There were many great moments, and the hint system in this room is the funniest I've encountered so far. The game masters were really great and accommodating. The introduction was excellent! 9/10 would recommend.
School of the Burning SoulsCineRoom BambergEscape roomIRLSchool of Burning Souls was definitely an experience. The scenery was fitting, and the room was set up according to the story. The puzzles ranged from very easy to requiring minimal "outside of the box" thinking. The actors were great and played their roles very well, especially as it approached the finale (which was incredibly good!). On the downside, there are slight inconsistencies in the room that could be improved with minor adjustments (especially regarding the hint system). All in all, a great experience. 8/10 would recommend.
Beast Of BerlinThe RoomEscape roomIRL"Beast of Berlin" tells the story of a murderer, and we, as players, need to catch him. It's a concept that has been used in many escape rooms before, but "The Room" has absolutely convinced me. The puzzles were difficult (in my opinion, the hardest room from "The Room - Berlin"), and I loved them. There were so many moments of "Wait, does that really work?" or "Haha, it was really back there!" The room was extremely satisfying, though challenging. The sound design stood out positively to me, I was really afraid at one point (even though the room had no actors!). This effect was achieved through perfect lighting, sound, and object placement, and I am thrilled. The game masters were, as always, fantastic! 10/10 must play.
Alice Im Wunderland [Alice In Wonderland]CineRoom BambergEscape roomIRLAlice in Wonderland. A great all-rounder room. The puzzles were well thought out and fit the theme, though they were fairly easy. The room is definitely a great experience for younger guests as well. The decorations were fantastic (especially the last room). A small highlight for our group was the beginning (but I won't say more about that). All in all, a solid room. 8/10 would definitely recommend.
