Sal's CyberneticsThe Immersive MachineEscape roomIRLNot terribly difficult, but atmosphere is amazing. And it's funny! There are some novel mechanics done well. It's clear the creators have a passion for this. Can't wait to see their next room.
The Pharaoh's Lost RelicHour to MidnightEscape roomIRLUnique puzzles designed by the owners and great atmosphere! Be warned that the rooms are a little small and large groups will be touching each other. Game masters were incredibly friendly.
Mystery At Innsmouth: An Official Arkham Horror Escape RoomHourglass EscapesEscape roomIRLAmazing sets. A good variety of puzzles w/ some unique ones in there. And eldritch (non-scary) horror is always fun. The best part of this room is that there are a variety of different concurrent puzzles, and they've done a great job of clearly linking objects to their puzzle. If you have a larger group (>5), this is a great pick.
Shimmer ReefSure Lock Escapes – Cypher Island (Renton)Escape roomIRLImmersive, neat mechanics, good concurrent solves. Medium difficulty.
The HeistThe Escape Game - Penn QuarterEscape roomIRLExtremely linear, and puzzles are good for new people. Fun mechanics but probably shouldn't have more than 4 people if you can avoid it.
The ExperimentCognition EscapesEscape roomIRLProduction is cheap, but puzzles are really unique. It's a lot shorter than expected. My only complaint was story: there wasn't really one. The intro story involved a curse, but that wasn't used in any way. There was an objective, but no flow or payoff. I would love to see these designers with a bigger budget.
AbductedSeattle Escape GamesEscape roomIRLSuper dark. Annoying noise with lighting game mechanic made it difficult to coordinate.
