9 - 1 - 1KW EscapeEscape roomIRLSo, I think my review will likely be an outlier, which I’m feeling bad about, but I felt very scattered in this room only having done it with 1 other person. I was confused with what I was supposed to be doing through a lot of it because there was SO much to engage with which kind of took me out of the story. It was combo lock after combo lock after completing another small puzzle, and I usually don’t mind that but things just didn’t feel like they flowed to me. It’s just not my preference I guess. Also, my friend and I hardly spoke through the whole thing because we had to separate and work on each half of the story on our own. Part of me wishes Morty had a neutral rating option because I don’t think it truly deserves a thumbs down, but I definitely didn’t walk out feeling like I’d enjoyed that room the way I’d hoped I would. But, to each their own! Other people seem to like it! 🤷♀️
Pipes And A PrincessIchabod’s EscapeEscape roomIRLThis escape room blew me away! What an immersive and unique experience! It’s definitely in my top 3 if not my favourite escape room.

ExitsKW EscapeEscape roomIRLIf you love rooms that are filled with loads of quick and satisfying puzzle solves, then this is the room for you! It’s theming is simple, but that’s the point of the room. There’s nothing better than feeling like you’re flying through puzzles, especially when they don’t end! :)

The set design, the puzzles that were quite satisfying and the perfect difficulty, and the overall ease and flow of the room was just… *french kiss* 🤌🏼
Serial Killer CharadeRoom Escape OttawaEscape roomIRLThis room flowed really well which is always satisfying. I found the set design to be well done overall, but it’s definitely an old school escape room feel which I don’t have a problem with. There were a couple puzzles in the room that seemed like “filler puzzles” that didn’t fit into the story of the room, but this isn’t uncommon in older style escape rooms. The music definitely added to the spooky factor and my partner got a good scare or two out of me which was hilarious 😂 Overall, I liked this room! It was simple but tricky enough to be satisfying. In the end the two of us escaped with 16:30 remaining on the clock!
