Very impressive gameplay (NPC) programming that is specific to the storyline. We have not encountered this in any escape room, yet. You can feel the flow of the story and the attention to detail put into each puzzle. The storyline kept us in suspense for the entire duration. Our game master, Alex, kept us fully immersed from start to finish! He definitely made sure we were able to get the full experience that this room has to offer. The calculated time given to complete the room is accurate, and we highly recommend playing this room (Chapter 1) first…and continue each room in sequential order. This escape can be enjoyed by all levels of escape enthusiasts. We were able to complete the room with two (2) players; however I think the recommend 4 would be best. Amazing experience overall! Well deserving of Best of Morty award 🏆.
The Cabin: Chapter 1Escape Hour AustinEscape roomIRLEasily the scariest and most immersive escape room of this genre that we’ve played. Our game master, Leigh, was in character from the moment we checked in till the final escape. Highly recommend this room , but be prepared since the room truly is “very scary”. Puzzles flowed well and game room setting is fully immersed. The game master attention to us and our experience made this room one of the best we’ve played. 10/10 👻💯

Lots of stunning visuals and set design that make you feel fully immersed in the experience. The puzzles flow well with the storyline and are well thought out. The room involves a high level of critical thinking, which we are fans of. We were very impressed that there are no simple locks. Be ready to encounter a heavy amount of logic puzzles with high-tech programming! 🧩 Our Game Master, Alex, was able to utilize the clue system effectively to guide us through the experience without giving away any of the puzzles. This allowed us to get the full experience! Gentle nudges to keep us on track, which we appreciate in a Game Master 💯. This room continues to tell the story of Asheville. Definitely a continuation from Occum’s Apartment. We highly recommend playing Chapter 1 first. We were able to complete this room with two (2) players and can be enjoyed by all levels of escape enthusiasts. Would not recommend anymore than 4 players, however there is enough space in this room if you decide to. Great experience leaving you even more excited to play Chapter 3! 🙏

Theme was very appropriate to the story and gave an eerie vibe that kept us on our toes the entire game. Must play, for those who enjoy horror and suspense style escape rooms.

Room is designed for only (2) players and forces you to use critical thinking each step of the way. We recommend you play all other rooms in this company first, before playing this room. Great room overall, with intricate puzzles within reach! We were impressed.

This room is unique as it is a continuation of "The Cabin". We recommend playing The Cabin first and The Shed immediately after for a back-to-back experience! Room is gory and the puzzles flowed very well with the story. Elements of darkness increased difficulty, but was provided with the resources needed to solve each the puzzle.

Felt very theatrical and we appreciated the details that was put into the room. The puzzles were confusing at the beginning, but as you continue on they start to flow. We typically try to not ask for clues early on in the experience, but we needed it to get started. This room is our least favorite from this company, but would still recommend!

We were able to understand the flow immediately and appreciate the love put into creating this room. Our game master, Matthew , was very attentive during our gameplay and really made this experience such a joy. Seeing the nostalgic games incorporated into puzzles was a very unique and warm touch. This room can be played by players of all levels.
