This game was a huge let-down. The overall experience was so bad that we left upset and wanting our money back. The game is still new, yet there were at least five instances of tech that weren't working. So much stuff was broken and we kept having to use the walkie talkie to get the game master to see that we had already done the correct things. There were two instances where the game master told us to just keep jiggling the objects until the tech registered that we had done it, even though we'd been doing that for a long time already. The game started off with a door open that should not have been open, so I had to use the walkie talkie to tell the game master that I had a feeling something was unlocked prematurely. He came in during the game to check and fix it, and then later one he came in yet again because he thought there was something wrong with the walkie talkies (there wasn't), breaking what should have been a cool reveal during the game. There was only ONE fun moment in the game that was tech-based, and the rest of the gameplay was really just... bad. There was a toggle switch puzzle wherein the solution did NOT match what we were supposed to look at, confirmed by the game master. There was a puzzle to which the solution was to look at things that were incredibly unclear and barely visible due to bad tech, and even the actions required by some of the puzzles were nonsensical and had no reason to exist. Oh, and to make matters even worse, there were two points in the game where tech wasn't working and the game master was not responding on the walkie talkie. Keep in mind this was AFTER the game master had already come in because he thought there was something wrong with the walkie talkie when there wasn't. We were literally waving at the cameras hoping he would see us, but he was busy doing something else and our time was ticking away, unable to make progress because of broken tech. Oh, and at one point when we had a solution and wanted to confirm we had done something correctly (we had), the game master started giving us a clue to a puzzle that didn't even exist in our game. He thought we were in a different game. Lastly, when we finished the final task, the door opened, and we just walked ourselves out and to the game master's control room where he and another game master were just monitoring a different game and laughing at the people playing it. I knocked on the door and he was like, "Oh, you're out!", and I handed him the walkie talkie and thanked him before we left. I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend NOT playing this game. I've done 200+ games and am a big Ghostbusters fan and was so looking forward to this, and my friends and I felt so cheated of our money. I honestly hope this game closes so they can fix all of the broken tech, fix the puzzle with the illogical solution, train the game master on how to properly attend to a game, and maybe even replace at LEAST two of the puzzles in the game that were just really badly designed and nonsensical. I'd hate for someone new to escape games to experience this in its current state and think this is what escape games are like.
