Storyteller's SecretBoxarooEscape roomIRLGorgeous set, very immersive. Some elements were hard to connect on our own to see what came next, but we were only 2 players and it's a complicated space so we missed things. Awesome, friendly staff.
AmnesiaMystery MansionEscape roomIRLAmnesia is complex, with multiple puzzle paths - our group of 4 who have done many escape rooms was busy the entire hour and enjoyed it.
The Cabin: Final ChapterEscape Hour Gig HarborEscape roomIRLThey were able to reduce the scariness for me by removing actors, which I deeply appreciated! Fun, interesting puzzles that flowed well, and the non-human spooky elements still created a great atmosphere. Accessibility notes: There are steps required for at least 1 player, for essential game elements. Be prepared to crawl and crouch, or sit and scoot around. If you are sensitive to continuous loud sound, you may need to discuss that with the game master beforehand.
Conundrum MuseumBoxarooEscape roomIRLFabulous game play moments in this one. Locked boxes guided you from art piece to art piece, which was nice for clarity. Fun physical manipulation elements.
Ruins of the Mystic TempleRabbit Hole Recreation ServicesEscape roomIRLLovely immersive decor, no pad locks. Creative opening mechanisms. Both major puzzles were finicky or not functioning so that we had to recreate last actions multiple times. Even with that, had 12 minutes left, so a short room for 5 people.
The NeighborSteal and EscapeEscape roomIRLExtremely impressive system to deliver hints or game progression. Haven't seen something like that before. A couple bits were fiddly, but overall a fantastic experience. The staff were fun to chat with afterward.
The Family CabinQuicksand Escape GamesEscape roomIRLSome bits are well thought-out and others are left as blank white drywall. Lots of look-and-find for objects, a few clever details.
The Missing SeasonSteal and EscapeEscape roomIRLPhenomenal designs and fun game play elements. Involves crawling for at least 1 player, and one element required lifting and moving somewhat heavy objects. Extremely clever ending that we adored.
Sister's SecretThe Unlockables - San DiegoEscape roomIRLDim lighting used as a way to make clues hard to find. Might be good for 6 people, as there are an insane number of puzzles/clues to work on in parallel. Had to stop play to get to another booking - this room was extended to 75 minutes because of the absolute blizzard of puzzles taking players a long time, and that wasn't on the website.
The Amulet of TimeMystic Escape Room - LittletonEscape roomIRLMix of magnetic locks and number/letter/key locks. A bit dimly-lit for 40-year-old eyes. Everything worked and it's well-maintained! Some fun reveals. Doable for 2!
