The Explorer's Diary (Mission)Hounds - Immersive ExperiencesEscape roomOther The actors added a immersive element, however it made it feel very rehearsed and the interaction less spontaneous. They also are clearly actors before games masters which meant the speed clues were given (especially when they can't be requested) was far too quick. A lot of the room was less puzzles more finding and placing things, however it was well paced and the set was fantastic.
The Battle for BritainEscape PlanEscape roomIRLAllie our game master was fantastic, very enthusiastic and added a lot to the experience. The room was great, very emmersive and the control table really added to the experience
MonumentsCave EscapeEscape roomIRLSuch a great use of space, being built into the caves, one of the coolest escape rooms we have done.
SpellCraftTulleys Escape RoomEscape roomIRLGreat room, would be fantastic for a child's birthday party (but for a small party). Great mechanics and set, feels never ending.
Southern Dis-Comfort (Mission)Hounds - Immersive ExperiencesEscape roomOther Very cool concept, with a good ending, I also enjoyed being seperated at the beginning, it created a good dynamic. However you could tell they were actors over GMs, in someways it added to the atmosphere but it lost the human element and felt to rehearsed. I didn't like the clue system where you didn't request clues they were just given meaning they were given too early.
The 13th FloorEscape Rooms CardiffEscape roomIRLWe were advised this is the best escape room in Cardiff, and I think they might have been right.
Pushed for TimeEscape PlanEscape roomIRLReally original escape room, best time travel escape experience we have done. Liked the small amount of customisation the room allowed.
Operation BlacksheepclueQuestEscape roomIRLVery good linear escape room, creative puzzles and a good room for beginners.
Nethercott ManorTulleys Escape RoomEscape roomIRLTulleys described it as Scoby Doo horror and I think that was the perfect synopsis of the room, very eerie and designed to make you jump, but there are no live actors and it is not a horror room. If you call ahead you can book a 90 minute slot, and I would say that is essential. The room is far to big to complete in 60 minutes, even for experienced escapers. And 90 minutes gave us enough time to enjoy the game, and I am glad as it is one of the best we have done.
The InspectorsEscape Boats - Galway City CentreEscape roomIRLOne of the best themed escape rooms we have done in a long time, perfect for a smaller group. Great games master, very friendly.
