The puzzles are a perfect level of challenge for more experienced escapees. I don’t have a single negative for this experience. If you’re looking for a great room that will give you a fright this is one of them

High NoonEscape This - Perth CBD, Hay Street MallEscape roomIRLSuch a fan of a Wild West style room and this room does not disappoint with really interesting puzzles and gorgeous set design I really felt like I had been chucked into an old jail cell. Also the music was exactly what you’d expect from a western which was really cool. They even have a real safe in the room! Highly recommend this is definitely one of my favourites
The DunnyEscape This - Perth CBD, Hay Street MallEscape roomIRLWell this was an experience I don’t think I could really get anywhere else. An Australian outback outhouse escape!! The idea is awesome and the execution was flawless with so many nods to Australian culture it was fantastic. Not to mention the puzzles were so much fun and I spent the whole experience grinning ear to ear. Also there’s some light horror elements so you may even get a little scare!
The Legend of Captain NemoEscape This - Perth CBD, Hay Street MallEscape roomIRLVery unique atmosphere! Being trapped in a submarine feels surreal. The puzzles are a lot of fun and there’s a lot of skill puzzles as well as logic puzzles in this one which I thought was really cool! The end is also so much fun I don’t want to spoil anything but you will be sweating by the end!
Pipeline - Red vs BlueUltimate RoomscapeEscape roomIRLA very cool and clever experience. I loved the vs aspect and it definitely helped that my team won hahah. The puzzles were well thought out and all worked as intended. The theming was kinda like wear-house vibes but with a red and blue hue on each side. Very cool idea and well executed
The Chaos EngineRealmz Escape GameEscape roomIRLThis room was very clever and enjoyable. I’m a big steam punk fan and this scratched that itch big time. There were some really clever puzzles and the story was fun. Highly recommend this room if your looking for a slightly easier challenge with some great set dressing
Mental PerceptionUltimate RoomscapeEscape roomIRLThis room was cleverly designed and executed with one puzzle that really brought the experience down. I’m not going to spoil it but there’s a skill puzzle not too far into the game that I think if you had 3+ players wouldn’t be too bad but with only 2 players was insanely tricky. Not sure if we’re maybe just a bit unco or if it’s meant to be done by more players but we spent 30 minutes alone on that puzzle and I ended up asking a GM to please just come in and help us (which she did so thank you). The rest of the room was pretty good though and I think they could sense our frustration so they gave us some extra time which was appreciated. Overall not my favourite experience at ultimate Roomscape but still worth doing.
Zenith PrimeRealmz Escape GameEscape roomIRLReally cool space themed room which I don’t think anywhere else does a space theme in Perth so credit where credit is due for that. The room was clever and had some very cool tech included. There is a control panel type thing that you need to interact with a lot which can get a little tedious but definitely not a deal breaker. Still a great time and a great room I highly recommend
