Sal's CyberneticsThe Immersive MachineEscape roomIRLWe had so much fun in this room! It flowed very nicely between the story and puzzles. Loved the cyber punk theme and hidden Easter eggs around the room. You could tell the game creators put a lot of love into this room! ❤️
Diamond QuestParanoia Quest - TempeEscape roomIRLVery immersive atmosphere and creative puzzles to put you into the Indiana Jones like movie! Puzzles were logical and flowed well. Very cool effects of going ‘deeper’ underground. Love the props!
Shadow Zen: The Vanishing MonkEscape PortalEscape roomIRLHidden gem in Bangkok! GMs were welcoming, thoughtful, and kind throughout the entire experience. Variety of puzzles for all types of thinkers. Very few combination locks. Flow was perfect, each room led into another seamlessly and kept us surprised.
Escape Plan: Lights OutParanoia Quest - TempeEscape roomIRLOne of my favorite prison themed escape rooms! Immersive, well built, great team building and communication based puzzles. My only gripe is it was a little short and easy. Would really like to see the final room have a few extra puzzles that add that final challenge and pressure to escape.
Recon: The Final HourParanoia Quest - TempeEscape roomIRLThis one has well timed jump scares! Plot was immersive and puzzles logically followed along. We only got stuck once, and a gentle nudge from the GM put us back on track. Very great owners here- very kind, open, and thoughtful. Strongly recommend!
Mr. HydeUnited Escapes Of America - MesaEscape roomIRLSome equipment did not work which was very frustrating as we thought we were doing it wrong, which led to lost time. Too many locks. Puzzles not all logical. Great theme and props, but needs some help.
RansomUnited Escapes Of America - TempeEscape roomIRLLost the immersion when the prison gate opened up with the slightest touch. Some puzzles are frustrating. Few novel ideas and props were scattered into the experience, but not enough.
Casino HeistParadox Escape RoomEscape roomIRLEasily the least favorite room I’ve done. It was very frustrating as a player because there was no signposting for puzzles, multiple red herrings and time wasters, and tedious tasks rather than actual puzzles. I’m trying to think of an audience that may like this but I don’t think there is one. I would not bring a new player here as there first escape room because this may discourage them from trying another escape room. And on the flip side, enthusiasts are going to be frustrated the entire time. I strongly recommend the creators/ owners reconsider their ideas for this room.
Escape the EmpireAction Hero StudiosEscape roomIRLUnique puzzles with cinematic theme. Owner went above and beyond on props and immersion.
