This one has instantly jumped into my top 5 games of all time. I don’t know that it would’ve been completely the same experience if we would’ve had more than two people in the room, but we lucked out and had a private experience. Overwhelmingly GOOD room. It was the absolute perfect balance between story/immersion and puzzling. A lot of tactical puzzles beyond just lock/key/code entering. I really loved this and am so happy to have said yes.
The Tipsy TailorIntrepid Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLOverall, this was an amazing experience. I would recommend this escape room, especially to connoisseurs and people who enjoy tough rooms. We did it with three people, two of which are very new to an escape rooms. We all enjoyed it, though I would say this was no easy room. I was overwhelmed multiple times and in the end we got stuck and needed a single clue to keep going. We did ultimately escape by the skin of our teeth. Many reviewers suggest that this room be done with larger player counts, I can attest and agree I think three players was slightly too few and 4-6 would be more ideal. Well done Escapement! I’m excited to play your next room!

The ratings are “overwhelmingly positive” and I’m not sure why. It was well thought through and a good room. But really nothing stand out about it to me. Is this the best room in Chicago?
Area 51Maze Rooms - Robertson BlvdEscape roomIRLThis game had the potential to be very good. But the storyline was missing and the puzzles were technologically cool, but confusing. There wasn’t always a good reason why I was doing something other than to “solve an abstract puzzle”. Also, there was one puzzle, maybe the coolest one, that was malfunctioning earlier in the day, so they just provided us with a laminated sheet of answers for that puzzle… bummer
NashvilleThe Escape Game - Berry HillEscape roomIRLThis was an okay to good room with a stellar but underwhelmingly implemented theme. Considering that this is the room that started it all for this company, it is a good room. Its age is showing. Not mad I played it, but maybe could’ve spent my time on another one of their rooms with a bit more excitement. Still, I’m happy to have done it alongside two other outstanding rooms in one night!
