PlaygroundThe Escape Game - New YorkEscape roomIRLDefinitely bring a group of 4+ people. I did it with two others, and we had a hard time just with the sheer number and scale of the puzzles. The game master took pity on us at one point because we’d figured out how to accomplish something, but clearly didn’t have enough people to complete it as directed. The puzzles were fun and reasonably challenging. My only complaint was that the puzzles were in groups of sorts, instead of being one long sequence of events. We’d sometimes finish a group of puzzles without any idea what to work on next. However, it was an overall fun experience and definitely would recommend.
The HeistThe Escape Game - New YorkEscape roomIRLThis one was really great! Challenging without being illogical or frustrating. With three of us in the room, it always felt like there was something for us to do without overwhelming us with too many tasks to complete. We needed minimal hints and escaped with 10 minutes left. The room felt very immersive and beautifully designed. This one actually felt easier than another room here (Playground), despite being rated as harder.
