Train RobberyCyber Raccoon Escape RoomEscape roomIRLGreat format. Great mood. Great puzzles. My only gripe is literally my own fault. I forgot that this is a NON-LINEAR puzzle room.
The DepthsThe Escape Game - Penn QuarterEscape roomIRLSolid experience for people just getting into escape rooms or people wanting to try out a more high tech room. There are a couple puzzles that have easy solutions that are easily overlooked, so keep an eye out. On the other side, it does require a decently strong bit of coordination so if your party is a rowdy bunch, make sure you’ve got them rounded up first.
Zodiac Serial KillerFox in a Box MiamiEscape roomIRLBy far one of the top rooms I’ve ever played! Easily in my top 3 favorites. Unique hint system, unique intro sequence, unique puzzles (even one that I never thought I’d see in an escape room [a very “polar” difference from what I’m used to :) ]), and overall a room that will make you *want* to finish it. It is their hardest room currently, so you will need a chunk of experience with what to expect to get through it.
Mission Control: Apollo 18Royal Caribbean - Oasis of the Seas ShipEscape roomIRLFor a supposed high-completion rate room (I think our staff member said it was around ~75%), I didn’t have high hopes for it, but the room really ended up being worth the time. The minimum 6 players playing is definitely there for a reason (although if the time available is increased (by like 15-20 minutes) then I could see smaller groups doing it), and having more heads to work together really brought everything together. There was just one really silly puzzle that seemed drastically harder to do than the rest of the entire room, and so I’ll leave an obscure hint for anyone who reads this before doing the room: “that which counts of 9 is separated into 3 categories, sequentially”
The ExperimentThe Escape - HuntsvilleEscape roomIRLA pretty good introduction to escape rooms if you need one to start with. Had plenty of time left before escaping, even with the chaos of a 6 person group
The HuntedEscape Mission Chattanooga - Coolidge ParkEscape roomIRLHonestly, we only had one hiccup throughout the entire thing and that was one of the lock’s batteries died so we had to get the manual key after solving the puzzle. Otherwise it’s an amazingly good example of what a “standard, but hard and fun experience of an escape room” is like. It also has a fun feature that most people love to see executed right.
Operation Saving HollyWoodBoxroom Escape Games / Escape The QuestEscape roomIRLOverall an awesome experience for one of the hardest rooms this space offers. Really unique rooms, not over the top when it came to using “high tech” stuff, and honestly felt “lore accurate” to what the story is based on in terms of tools and gadgetry you’d use. If you do ‘escape’ in time like we did, you get a fun surprise as well
Sabotage: Chattanooga 1944Time To EscapeEscape roomIRLAn amazing concept and really nice visuals for the room(s), but the execution of some of the hints and puzzles left me and my party confused and sometimes even more misled on what is supposed to be the answer we are looking for. The player shouldn’t have to assume things (or be forced to ask for a hint) to get the right answer.
