Lots of technology and it was all working perfectly. Game master did a great job with staying mostly quiet and offering small tips when we asked or when we almost there but made a mistake.
Lab RatHatch EscapesEscape roomIRLReally creative concept and lots of novel and fun puzzles. We have done 30-40 rooms and this one was refreshing and new with some fun surprises throw in along the way.
The Asylum13th Gate EscapeEscape roomIRLAbsolutely fantastic. The set was by far the most elaborate that we have ever played. Good puzzles that were both original and challenging. Recommend fully, this is hands down the best escape room experience we have had to do (in 50+ rooms). We are going to have to travel back to do the rest!
Het Geheim Van Sint-Rumoldus [The Secret of Saint-Rumoldus]De Gouden KooiEscape roomIRLThis is a fantastic immersive room. It is a bit spooky but not scary. This room had a lot of good, creative puzzles and many special effects. Every time we thought that we might be close to the end, another room opened for us. Great staff and room worked well - was in great condition.
Lunar EscapeMission EscapesEscape roomIRLFun room with really original puzzles. Unique start to game. Technology was all working and very solid. Emphasis in this room is definitely on the puzzles (not super immersive) and we had a great time.
The Magic CottageInfinity EscapeEscape roomIRLThis was a cool room with tons of technology (lots of special effects, automation). We really appreciated the large quantity of puzzles and the time and attention that was put into the room and the immersive experience of the story line. Definitely book this room if you enjoy rooms with lots of tech and effects. The only downside is that many of the puzzles were pretty simple and with the linear design, sometimes it felt like just following directions. In any case we really enjoyed the room and we're glad that we played but we enjoyed Lab Rat more for the heavier focus on the puzzles.
Wrongfully ConvictedThe Escape RevolutionEscape roomIRLReally immersive and fun room. Lots of fun and novel puzzles that didn't involve combo locks (only one time during the whole experience did we use a combo lock). Just fyi, this place is all 18+. For this room it is not because of the content but because they seem to be really worried about kids damaging their rooms. We luckily got a sympathetic manager who let us play with our 10 year old but I would not book again because we can't play with the whole family.
Finders KeepersFrisco Escape RoomEscape roomIRLUnless you are a complete novice, give this one a skip. The theming was cute but the puzzles were all pretty basic and you moved from combo lock to combo lock from beginning to end. There is only a single room and no technology.
HauntedHD Escape Rooms - DenverEscape roomIRLThis was one small room with not very many puzzles. Lots of lock boxes and nothing all that creative or challenging. Theme was cool but it kind of fell flat at the end, we didn't know it was solved/over until the guy came and opened the door. Absolutely do not bother.
