The Rat TrapLockstar EscapeEscape roomIRLVery immersive rooms with fun puzzles. Flows well and the puzzles fit well with the theme. It was quite easy for the 2 of us overall but it was realy enjoyable. The main downside was having to buy a minimum of 3 tickets but all rooms are private. Would definitely recommend if in the area.
The Society of Adventures and ExplorersEdge EscapeEscape roomIRLPlayed this game with my husband and really enjoyed it. Definitely my favorite of their rooms. The puzzles were very unique and creative which adds a ton of fun. Experienced players may not find the room too challenging but I still highly recommend for a fun time. Absolutely not cookie cutter at all, you can tell how much work they put into the room. Would be great for families and players of all experience levels.
The Legend Of The Jersey DevilCloak and Dagger Escape Rooms - WildwoodEscape roomIRLI think we were initially skeptical about an escape room right on the boardwalk but the games we did really impressed us! This 30 minute Jersey Devil game was fun and engaging but on the easier side for experienced players. Definitely ideal for newer players and it's in a great location since there's so much other stuff to do before/after on the boardwalk. Puzzles were pretty straightforward but on theme. The set was really well done and immersive. It had some creepy elements which we enjoyed but I would say it's best for teens/adults rather than the whole family. Several easter eggs for Jersey natives!
The Search for the Jade SkullCloak and Dagger Escape Rooms - WildwoodEscape roomIRLWe've done several similarly themed rooms (Aztec/Inca/Mayan) and found that this one had a very immersive set. There were many unique puzzles and overall a lot to do in an expansive set. I thought the game was fairly challenging for two experienced players based on the complexity of the puzzles (we had about 8 minutes to spare) but would likely be easier with more players. Great GMs/hosts and location.
