the room is generally not very good. it does have good looking design and interesting puzzles with the wands youre given throughout the game being probably the most unique and interesting feature, but that’s about it. The atmosphere is not very immersive, there’s a complete lack of ambient sound, except for some noises connected with certain puzzle completions and operations with the wands. When I play an escape game, I like the feeling of completely forgetting I am in one, and this room did nothing to accommodate that feeling. We could tell where hidden compartments are, and how they would open, the puzzles themselves were clever, but sketchily functional, with the roommaster having to tell us to push something for it to open, hence making the experience not smooth and less immersing. One more thing I will metion is the puzzle at the end, which was completely unclear and non-understandable, having us do random things in order to finish. Would say what the puzzle was, but I’d like this review not to contain spoilers. As for the roommaster, whose name I unfortunately don’t remember as I have lost the card given to me at the end, they were mediocre. There wasn’t any roleplay involved in explaining the story, they also said that the hints would be in a roleplaying fashion in the sense of a house elf, which they weren’t, and, when we needed advice for one of the puzzles, they just explained the puzzle outright, not having us finish the puzzle by ourselves. in hindsight, there are many rooms way better than this one for the price, which was around 2000czk. I do not recommend this room.
