It was genuinely horrifying. 3 of the 4 of us did not enjoy just how scary it was, but still rating the room high because they did warn us, we just didn’t listen. The most thematic room we’ve ever done.
Sleeping SpiritsCenter City Escape Room [prev. Gotham Escape Room]Escape roomIRLThis room had very little flow. It was a barrage of random puzzles, many reusing the same component in the room. Some puzzles could be brute forced with little effort, but we didn’t know we had mistakenly solved it ahead of time so we had clue pieces we could not use. One puzzle gave zero indication of how to logically solve it, and I would be shocked if anyone could solve it without a hint. Overall poor structure, good atmosphere, good staff.
Lab RatsEscape Hour AustinEscape roomIRLThe room had many broken components. The game master repeatedly gave us clues without us asking. It feels like it was made years ago and never repaired.
