The hosts really bring things to life and some interactive elements will have you cackling. A great mix of puzzles and set design to get both your mind and body working. As always with Hounds, flawless tech, design and staff!
Southern Dis-Comfort (Mission)Hounds - Immersive ExperiencesEscape roomOther A really interesting bit of theming which puts you straight in the heart of the states. A unique set of puzzles which lead up to an amazing big finish. As always with Hounds, the hosts were amazing and the acting belongs on a west end stage show, the talent is incredible. Another room if you’re in the area you should do, and if you’re not… then travel to do it!
Questionable Ethics (Mission)Hounds - Immersive ExperiencesEscape roomOther Portal fans will love this… As with all Hounds rooms, the acting was incredible and makes it impossible not to be immersed. The narrative is also great and the different sets make playing one room feel like playing many. It’s also a really unique theme I’ve not seen anywhere else, and of course done to perfection.
The Acid Bath Murderer (Live Experience)Hounds - Immersive ExperiencesEscape roomOther This isn’t quite an escape room… the closest analogy I can think of is a Professor Layton game where you’re driven along by the narrative but there are puzzles in your way you have to unlock. It’s thrilling, immersive and chilling at points (and as a bonus… educational!). An (absolutely brilliant) live actor takes you through the story with various twists and turns. For anyone in two minds… just do it, it’s a great experience even if you’re not too keen on the scary things… you’ll be fine! It’s nothing you won’t be able to handle… probably.
Prison IslandPrison Island MaidstoneEscape roomOther An interesting concept which is great fun with a group of friends. A few bits of certain puzzles felt a little broken but it’s hard to say for certain if they were or we just weren’t quite getting the idea. Quite a few of the puzzles rely on similar mechanics and at times the games feel repetitive. That said, it was a great experience and if you’re in the area it’s worth popping along. We didn’t have time to stay but it looks like they have a great bar too!
