Stolen RelicWill To Escape - OrlandoEscape roomIRLThis was a fun, well put together room. The room is done in a very dimly lit space and everyone is given a flashlight. There is a segment where you will have to crawl or crouch through a bit of a tunnel. Overall the puzzles were challenging but straightforward enough to understand what to do next without getting too confused. There is a phone that you have to dial numbers into a few different times; we had a problem hearing the message because the volume was a little low. However, they fixed that and we were able to hear it. Overall it was a really fun, solid experience and my team enjoyed it a lot.
SherLock StudiesThe Escape EffectEscape roomIRLThis was a very traditional old school escape room. No RFID puzzles or high tech stuff. Most of the locks were 5-letter word locks, so that was a little same-y. However, it was a fun murder mystery to solve, with a kind of clue-esque metapuzzle to solve at the end, and we had a good time. It could have been improved by just a little more info letting us know that each of the suspects and weapons could only be used in one place (e.g., if someone was somewhere else using a weapon, even at a different time than the time of the murder, that person would be eliminated as a suspect).
