The Escape Game
Escape room

Take me back to the days of school playgrounds! I enjoyed this silly, childlike room. We (team of 5) with a few strangers and that was not expected. But the room is big and it ended up accommodating us all. If playing with just your team, I recommend at least 4 players. Several different types of puzzles. Nothing mind blowing or very difficult. But overall it was enjoyable. It was fun. It got the idea of a playground. Highly recommend.

Oh the childlike fun you’ll have in this room! Part of this room is completed in *almost* complete darkness. You cannot see your hand in front of you so get ready to feel your way through puzzles. One player in our group of four was really turned off by the dark. So make sure all players are cool with losing visibility for a portion of the game. This is a great room for four or less players. Can be done with two players.

I love the team at Escape Ventures. They’re all escape room enthusiasts and they put their escape room love into their rooms. I enjoy rooms which include different types of puzzles and one thing EV does well is their diversity of puzzles. Every room I’ve done with them has childlike elements. The Satirical Miracle really encourages you to be childlike and have fun. None of the puzzles are really hard so the 6/10 seemed appropriate but the experience wasn’t so easy that it was boring. There was plenty to do and a lot to explore but this is definitely on the easier side of escape rooms and could be done with just two people. Highly recommend!
Puppet Heist: The Hand Of Life

I find it funny that so many reviews don’t like the “doll” being involved. The reason I really like this room is because they added an element (a puppet) that most rooms don’t have. I’m here for the original content! There are a mix of puzzles which makes this room a great experience for a group of 4-6. We had a lot of fun. The only negative is there was a piece of the room that seemed important but ended up being a red herring - I hate those. If it’s just for cool decor, great. But when it directly links to a puzzle you’re working on, I don’t like if it ends up not being important. Turns out the piece I’m talking about USED to be important but they changed the puzzle making it obsolete. I wish they’d just take it out. The room has plenty going on without it. But overall we enjoyed this room and highly recommend.

Pretty cool escape room. Non-traditional in that there are no lock and key type locks. Different types of puzzles to solve so something for all players. I played with two other women; it’s good for 3-6 days players I’d say. The mechanics and decor are top notch. Four small rooms that connect. The thing I love about The Bureau is the attention to detail. They’re just dang cool.

This is a fun and immersive escape room. We (team of 6) escaped without any clues. Nothing is too hard in this room, most of the puzzles are easy to figure out. A couple puzzles took a little thinking before we solved them. All puzzles worked and were in good shape. The rooms are small. I recommend 6 people max but 4 people is probably best. They allow up to 8 and rooms are not private so anyone can join the time slot you book.

I did this room with a friend and 3 strangers as part of a boardgame event (side note: you can rent out the Bureau’s lounge or the entire place). Since all of us are gamers, we worked well together despite not knowing each other. There are a mix of puzzles, nothing too hard. A little bit “spooky” so not recommended for people who don’t like low lighting.

This was a fun room! Great interaction with the game master. The puzzles are all unique with some fun flashy outcomes. We enjoyed as a team of 3!

It sounds like Escape Ventures bought another escape company and updated the rooms, however, this room wasn’t tested well. There was a mistake in the final puzzle making it hard to complete the room without help. Overall theme was okay. Definitely not as nice as their rooms in the Orlando location. None of the puzzles were particularly exciting which I have come to expect from this company. Overall I think they need to test the rooms out a few more times. Disappointed with how much we paid for a room that wasn’t quite ready for paying players. Hopefully they work out the kinks and the other rooms are better. I’ll give them a few months before trying another room at this location.

There are some cool puzzles in this room! We did it with three players. I enjoyed it. Good level of detail and atmosphere. But one puzzle drove me crazy because I was never gonna get it without a clue. I won’t say what it is because I don’t want a spoiler in my review but let’s just say I don’t agree with their definition of something and was therefore unable to solve one puzzle without help. But overall - really cool room and great puzzles. Recommend!
