Operation GryaznayavodaIn Search Of An ExitEscape roomIRLAmazing escape room and company. One of my favorites in Portland. The rooms are extravagant and uses pretty cool technology. The owner is awesome, too. Funny guy.
Lombino's CasinoIn Search Of An ExitEscape roomIRLFun escape room! Very immersive and uses sophisticated technology (more than just keys and locks). I think it's one of the best rooms in Portland.
The Pharaoh's Lost RelicHour to MidnightEscape roomIRLThis was a really fun escape room. It is a little more difficult than their other rooms, do having at least 4 people is recommended even if you're an advanced/expert player. This room surprised me because they used their space effectively. They also used a bunch of different puzzles, locks, technology and mechanisms, so it's just not a locks and puzzles repeatedly. The room is well decorated that it feels like you are in the experience. The gamemaster (and all at Hour to Midnight) was great and also a great actor as well, definitely enjoyed his job lol. I recommend this room if you have a big group.
Prison BreakEscape Room 66 - Laguna HillsEscape roomIRLThis was a really fun game! We played with just 2 players, and were able escape. Not a lot of mechanics and automation, but very traditional puzzles and locks (number and letter combo and key). There were tons of puzzles in this room and all pretty unique which made it a good value for the room. This is a mom and pop escape room company, and we met one of the owners/gamemaster. They were friendly and their lobby/entrance is really cute. We can't wait to play their next room (they didn't have it open as of Jan 2024).
Assassin's Deadly GameHour to MidnightEscape roomIRLI completed this escape room with friends, a total of 5 players. It's one of their simpler and smaller escape rooms that Hour to Midnight offers. However, it was still fun and the room/atmosphere was well decorated. I didn't think the storyline was what it was based on the logo they had on their website. There were a combo of mechanical and high tech puzzles as well as traditional keys and combo locks.
The Ramen ShopMystery Maui Escape RoomEscape roomIRLClassic escape rooms with a lot of puzzles. Very difficult and barely escaped with 2 people. It was still fun and very challenging.
Sasquatch On SiteParadigmqEscape roomIRLIt's been a few years since I played this escape room. We played this escape room with two people. I remember that it was immersive. The decor was impressive and well done. The puzzles were great, too. I believe there were a variety of puzzles and types. The puzzles were modern with high tech things. Very cute storyline, too. Staff as great as they can get.
House of DarknessHour to MidnightEscape roomIRLNot great for anyone who is afraid of the dark. You will be in complete darkness. It is scary because one of your senses is deprived. We completed this with 4 people. We had a scaredy cat, 1 who tries to brave, and 2 very brave souls. Without those 2, we may have not escaped. We were given a sneak peek of what it looks like in the light and it's amazing on how much they can do with very little.
PortlandiaEscape Games PDXEscape roomIRLWe completed this escape room with 3 players back around 2021-2022. This was a very cute escape room. Definitely great and perfect for tourists and visitors. It is a great way to learn about Portland. I remember the room being a little worn, i.e. gone through a lot of players and teams throughout the years. Well decorated, and great staff.
The Secrets of NibiruHour to MidnightEscape roomIRLI completed this escape room back in 2022. We completed this room with 2 players (advanced/expert). We loved the decor and it felt very immersive; they had some great props, too. The storyline is pretty classic; you probably have heard it before or a version of it if you have done a bunch of escape room with a character who collects artifacts. I believe the puzzles were both high tech and mechanical. For two players, it was plenty of puzzles.
