The Escape Game - Concord
Escape room
IRL
The room was a ton of fun and the immersion was great!
The Mansion
Exit Strategy - North
Escape room
IRL
I’ve played this room twice over a couple of years. It was super memorable the second time that I played it, and the atmosphere was great. I remember the staff being super friendly.
The Ruins
Exit Strategy - North
Escape room

I played this room years ago with a couple of friends. We ran out of time on the last puzzle. I remember the decor and atmosphere being alright, but not the best I’ve seen. We still had a good time.
Spooky Mansion

I used to work at SpareTime. As a GM reading these reviews I agree 100%. This is a bowling alley and arcade. The escape rooms are less than an afterthought. They may be cheap to play but that’s for a reason. You get what you pay for.

They may be cheap to play but that’s for a reason. You get what you pay for. I also think it’s interesting that the description on this app is slightly wrong, they wrote the captain’s name wrong. Also yes, the ending is manual, making it tedious and unnecessarily complicated for everyone involved.

They may be cheap to play but that’s for a reason. You get what you pay for. This is the harder of the 2 15-minute rooms. It’s not a very linear game, the puzzles can be solved in any order. Because of that, it can be confusing on where to start, especially for those who are new to escape rooms.

I used to work at SpareTime. As a GM reading these reviews I agree 100%. This is a bowling alley and arcade. The escape rooms are less than an afterthought. They may be cheap to play but that’s for a reason. You get what you pay for. When I left SpareTime, this was the only room that was fully functional. Still, that’s not saying much. You can tell how the escape rooms here are an afterthought, especially in this room. There are airplane seats in this room, and someone took a pocket knife to them about a year ago. They were never replaced, only covered up with cheap seat covers that are now as torn and ratty as the seats themselves. This is the hardest room at SpareTime. The difficulty spike is a lot for some reason. This room is also not handicap accessible, as it requires some crawling through a small door. If you have the right GM, they will open up a full sized Staff Door for you if you’re unable to crawl, but it’s not something I’ve seen anyone actually do in practice.
