Witchly Ever AfterOmescape - San JoseEscape roomIRLThis room was elaborate and beautiful with multiple sections. I found myself distracted a few times by what I thought were part of the puzzles. The hints light up to show us what's next to solve, which was really helpful. There were many nooks and crannies with pieces of the puzzles that I would've missed if not for my 10 year old. Our game master was very helpful and kept us on track, especially towards the end when we were almost running out of time.
Fair GameRed Door Escape Room - ConcordEscape roomIRLThere were multiple rooms and all of them had a good amount of number and word scrambling puzzles. The first and second room also had fun physical games. When we got to the last room, we were treated to another collection of fun puzzles. A few of the puzzles in the last room required us to look back in the first room. Our game master (Julian) was very welcoming and helpful throughout. Our group had a great time here!
Holding CellATG Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLThe room was stark and bare just like you'd expect of a holding cell. We were struggling a little at the beginning but found the right numbers to work with, not really knowing what to expect. We received a helpful hint that unblocked us and set us on the right path. We're not a fan of safes with locks that get disabled for 5 minutes and this room has one of those. We wasted a good 10 minutes working with the lock. Overall, we enjoyed the variety of puzzles magnetic or otherwise.
Batman™: The Dark Knight ChallengeEscapology - San RamonEscape roomIRLThe first room started off great. I thought we were off to a smooth start and the puzzles came together pretty easily. But the second room was another level up and we spent too much time working with the chains. We ended up with too little time in the last room, which is by far the trickiest room of all.
