La RébellionThe Cipher Room St PetersEscape roomIRLDid this with a team of 4. I loveeeed this escape room. Can't recommend it enough. I thought it was really creative and novel in many aspects. The atmosphere was great, the puzzles really fun and had some cool theatrics. The level of difficulty suited our group well and at multiple points we were showing each other puzzles we had completed so no one missed out on any part of the experience.
The HotelRiddle Room CanberraEscape roomIRLWe did this room as a group of four, it was our first of three escape rooms that we did on the day. Really liked the interior design of the escape room and that it was more spacious. Had lots of things to look at so at no point did it feel like I was bored even when others were solving a puzzle. The atmosphere was great and contributed well to the theme of the room. There was only one puzzle I really disliked and mainly because it was a bit time consuming and the fact that I'm not a huge fan of having to read a bunch of text to solve puzzles (but that's just me). Other than that it was fun and loved that there were no padlock and key based locks in this one.
End of the RoadNext Level EscapeEscape roomIRLDid this room with a group of four. We really enjoyed this one as it was immersive and had a good amount of interaction with the game master, but not too excessive. The room had some fun and creative puzzles and flowed well.
CurioEscape Rooms CanberraEscape roomIRLI enjoyed the magic theme which was consistent throughout the escape room. It had some cool interactive puzzles and some unique mechanisms, which were fun. The difficulty was fine for us and we solved it quite smoothly.
TorquayElude Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLDid this room together as a team of four. We completed this room after Perpetual motion so our brains got to warm up a bit. Loved the design of the room and how it was decorated. Had lots of puzzles to solve, some very creative that we hadn't seen before. Liked how all the puzzles matched well with the theme too. At no point did any of us feel bored or that we didn't have something to do. Everything flowed really well. We didn't finish within the time but luckily we were given a couple minutes extra and were able to escape in that bonus time. The escape rooms at elude definitely humbled us and gave us a good challenge.
The GameNext Level EscapeEscape roomIRLFun with a larger group, good if you like a bit of competition. Puzzles were on the easier side.
The InheritanceNarrow Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLThis was a multi linear room we did with a group of four people. Overall the quality of the room was well designed with some interesting and novel puzzles. There was enough to keep everyone busy and entertained and everything felt like it flowed well. It had a good mix of traditional lock puzzles as well as some interactive puzzles.
UnstoppableMission Escape George StEscape roomIRLDid this room with a team of four. The room was mostly mechanical puzzles. We felt this room was more immersive and had better interior design compared to two of the other rooms we've done at mission. We enjoyed the hands on aspects of this room and the more collaborative puzzles.
The MineRiddle Room CanberraEscape roomIRLThis was the second of three rooms I did with a team of four. I thought the room had some fun and unique puzzles. Lots of space to roam and some unexpected areas. Also had some pretty cool design aspects.
FramedElude Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLThis was our fourth escape room at elude. We ended up giving in and because the previous 3 were so fun and thought we might as well check off the last one. I'm glad we finished off on a room that we could actually escape. In this room, one person begins separated from the rest (that was me). Like the other rooms, this room has some really fun and creative puzzles. There was an added layer of difficulty as some of the puzzles were multi-step puzzles. Even though this room had many combination locks, the puzzles to solve them were unique and still made it fun and exciting. The room was well designed and decorated. The host Julia gave us some background on how they came up with some of the room ideas and actually gave us a bit of a history lesson. She was so lovely and passionate and didn't hesitate to answer any of our questions. Can't wait to see what they have in store for us next.
