We played with a team of 4, and for the most part it kept everyone busy. I did find myself standing around a few times, waiting for specific puzzles to get solved before we could move on. Overall my team had a great experience. The staff was very friendly and our GM was attentive and helpful.
Gold RushThe Escape Game - GaslampEscape roomIRLOn the positive - The staff were great and very accommodating with a late comer. Also the room was a hit with a newbie player! (their target audience) On the negative - As an enthusiast the room was lackluster and exactly what I would expect from a chain location with a budget for set design and is just ok with lazy puzzles. The room was filled with four digit locks and key padlocks with no in-game clues as to which combination/key goes with which lock. There was also a fickle skill based game which was just a time suck. I’m not a fan of carnival games in a gold mine.
