But the game masters are super attentive and adjust the scare factor if they notice it’s too much for someone. I thought that was great! The set design is amazing. Definitely a must-try! :)
Monster MashersTales of Torchdale - Monster MashersEscape roomIRLFor me personally, this is by far the best escape room (yes, almost even better than Magnifico's Circus!). The introduction and, above all, the start of the game are absolutely amazing. I really hope every group gets Wout as their GM! The puzzles are tricky but solvable. The location and the storyline are brilliant. Even in Light Mode, the game is a bit spooky because of the setting, but it’s totally manageable. An absolute must-try! :)
Demise of the GricersEnteredEscape roomIRLThe story is super interesting, and I can see why the game is a fan favorite. For me personally, this has nothing to do with an escape room anymore. It’s an experience unlike anything I’ve ever played before. You have to be aware that the game is incredibly physically demanding and can even be dangerous at times if you’re not paying close attention. The acting is fantastic, and the story is incredibly well-thought-out. For me personally, the game wasn’t the right fit because of the scare factor, so I stopped playing after about an hour. The team was super nice, though, and offered several times to adjust the scare factor for me—I thought that was very thoughtful! The rest of our group was able to finish the game without any issues and raved about it, which is why the overall rating is good. In any case, I’d especially like to highlight the team behind the game. They’re incredibly attentive and friendly. We chatted for a long time after the game, and that’s why I look back on the experience fondly despite my early exit.

The setting fits the story, but it’s relatively dirty. The game master, as is unfortunately the case with other games from this provider, wasn’t good—and certainly not friendly. For that reason alone, I wouldn’t play this room (or any of the provider’s other rooms) again.
Hijacked SubwayEscape CityEscape roomIRLUnfortunately, the room has absolutely no atmosphere. Just another photo wallpaper on the wall. It’s extremely noisy and you can hear everything from the adjacent room. The puzzles are easy, but that’s fine for a beginner’s room. Unfortunately, the room is absolutely not worth the money.
The RingEscape CityEscape roomIRLThe price is completely out of line with the quality. The room is rather uninviting and the puzzles are easy. Most of the props are 3D-printed and clearly glued together. There’s only a photo wallpaper on the wall, parts of which are already peeling off. There’s no soundproofing—you can hear the other groups in the next room.
