Stash HouseStash HouseEscape roomIRLOur group of four escaped with three minutes to spare. Really challenging room (especially for four people – they recommend eight), but super immersive and fun!
PlaygroundThe Escape Game - AustinEscape roomIRLI did this room a few years ago, and it’s still my favorite room I’ve ever done. Fun, silly, and surprising in the most delightful way. I love all of the rooms I’ve done from The Escape Game, but this one is really top tier!
Whatever Happened To The Garretts?Maze Rooms - West LAEscape roomIRLSuch a great room! The puzzles were linear and clever. So engaging, and a really fun ending! We had a group of two, which was challenging in a really rewarding way. We used one hint and escaped with five minutes to spare.
The Mush RoomEscape Room 66 - Los AngelesEscape roomIRLSuch a great room! The puzzles all felt challenging while making total sense. Our group of two made it out with eight minutes to spare using no hints. We preferred this one to Inksidious, but both are really unique and fun. The story didn’t really play into the puzzles all that much, but I honestly didn’t mind. The people who work at this location are super enthusiastic, which always makes the experience better!
Special Ops: Mysterious MarketThe Escape Game - Los AngelesEscape roomIRLOur group of four adults was put with a family of four (including two kids), and together we were told we beat the room’s record: no hints and escaped with over 22 minutes to spare! Overall, I really enjoyed this room. There were a lot of great twists and turns, but it felt a little easy for a group this big; probably would have been a better and more challenging experience for a smaller group. Still, The Escape Game always makes great rooms and this one is no exception!
Armored Vehicle HeistThe Escape RevolutionEscape roomIRLThe optics of this room are really cool and there are some fun and surprising moments, but this room isn’t linear at all and there are some puzzles that, if you are experienced in escape rooms, feel totally counter-intuitive and therefore took us a lot longer to figure out. There was also at least one puzzle that literally didn’t work for us and we needed the GM to fully give us the answer. Overall, I don’t think this would be a room I’d recommend.
