Luckily the game master gave us extra time as they did not have a group after us and we were able to make up for the difficulty of working with the others. It was a really cool room and any Harry Potter fan would totally love it!
Scooby-Doo™ and the Spooky Castle AdventureEscapology - BurnsvilleEscape roomIRLThis was done really well. The room is legitimately Scooby Doo and not some kind of knock off. Bright colors, cool lighting, and very high tech makes this a really fun and unique room to do.
Ruin RaidersMissing Pieces Escape GamesEscape roomIRLThis was my first ever escape room. I was hooked with this experience and judge every room I have done since on if they recreated the same thrill. The business is family owned and the workers are very friendly. Highly recommend for everyone whether new or avid escapees.
Special Ops: Mysterious MarketThe Escape Game - MinneapolisEscape roomIRLThe room is amazingly decorated and you really feel like are somewhere else. However the size of the room is SOOO small. We had only 3 of us in this room and we were tripping over one another. Once we unlocked the next section, we still were tripping over one another because we only gained an extra 4 feet. The puzzles were super hard which is amazing, but you then almost need more people in there to do it which I cannot fathom how since the space is small. The story was a lot of fun and the game kept exceeding my expectations by misdirecting me to what I thought was going to “open” only to find that something else did! Would love to do this room again to see if I can get out this time.
Lost CityEscapology - BurnsvilleEscape roomIRLThe room was really submersed and we enjoyed the atmosphere. We got out relatively early but it is an easier room to complete. Hannah, our game master was friendly and courteous. I have done all the rooms at this location and look forward to new ones in the future.
The HeistThe Escape Game - MinneapolisEscape roomIRLThis is one of the few times I have done a room with other groups as they do not offer private experiences (they do now but you have to pay extra for it) I learned quickly that doing rooms with others is not something I enjoy. The first room is so small. There were 8 of us and we were all SQUEEZING by one another to move around which made game play difficult. I honestly don’t remember much about the puzzles for this room as the others I was with did many of them and did not offer to let others understand what they were doing or why. The room is one of the most well decorated rooms I have ever seen.
Mission: MarsThe Escape Game - MinneapolisEscape roomIRLI am not really into space exploration so the theme is not for me, but if you like the idea the room is good. The decor is certainly in theme and the puzzles are well aligned with the theme.
7 Deadly SinsEscapology - BurnsvilleEscape roomIRLThis room gave me the creeps! The theme was really good that I was constantly on edge the whole time. I loved this room, my only negative criticism would be that one puzzle is near impossible to figure out without getting help from the game master. I have talked with others that have done this room and they too feel the same way about the one specific puzzle.

Mansion MurderEscapology - BurnsvilleEscape roomIRLThis was the first ever room I did not escape from. This is a hard room but well done. The theme is good the puzzles were great. I have only two critiques about it. The first is that the last room you enter, you basically do nothing in it, the room does not seem needed except to keep it linear which could have been done differently. The second is that there is one puzzle the is nearly impossible to figure out without help do the game master. They also got enough customers getting one piece of that puzzle wrong often enough that they officially changed the answer to be two different items. To me, that means that the puzzle is not well done and made me angry that we had spent so much time on it due to this. (The change came well after I did the room, but customers still need help in order to understand the puzzle more often than not.)
