From the waiting room all the way to the end, and Scott was amazing as our GM. There were so many elements we’ve not encountered in any other rooms, and there was plenty to do for four people. Ink & AshesExodus Escape RoomEscape roomIRLAnother amazing room! Do not miss this experience. It’s very immersive since you are driven by the story and the impressive set really ties it all together. I also can’t stress how much a good GM can make or break the game and Emmanuel was amazing. There are a ton of puzzles so watch your time, especially with smaller groups. We were never bored or just standing around, the story breaks make the room so much more fun and they pause your time at these moments so you can pay attention. It really adds to the whole experience. Can’t wait to visit their other locations.
13th BasementExit Game OC - AnaheimEscape roomIRLThis room is easily a top 3 for me. Christine and Jeremiah are amazing and have created a top notch experience. Even if you don’t like scary you should still check out this room, we had a great time. A couple of jump scare moments but also plenty of laughter. The clues are clever the gameplay was smooth. There were lots of unique elements in solving the puzzles and locks that I hadn’t seen before. Can’t wait until they open their next room. They also spent a good amount of time discussing escape rooms and making recommendations for other rooms that we should try!
Jewel of the SeaIntrepid Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLSuch a good room! We love intrepid and we’re sad that we’ve now done all their rooms. This one was definitely our favorite with the theme and the decor. The puzzles are different and really require cooperation at certain points. Char was an incredible game master and we can’t wait to go back when their new room opens!
EdelineCloud EscapeEscape roomIRLThis is a really good room. We spent the whole time terrified and couldn’t stop laughing. We saw a lot of new puzzles and there is only one number lock. Some spaces are small so a large group might struggle and you can really only work one puzzle at a time. Four is the ideal number.
Wicked WonderlandEscape Room 66 - Laguna HillsEscape roomIRLWe tried to book Prison Break but it was already booked so they offered us this room and I’m so glad they did! It was a fun room with a lot of puzzles to solve. The amount of locks and puzzles ups the pressure a bit but we had a good time and still escaped. Shout out to Brookelle for being an awesome game guide!
