The Last of OursAxescape RoomEscape roomIRLThe set design and flow of the game was excellent for this homemade room in Arizona. The game master was super helpful and I had a really good time solving this with my father who also greatly enjoyed it. Would absolutely recommend this escape room!
PinocchioEscapade GamesEscape roomIRLAtmosphere was 10/10, what a unique room!! Not as scary as I expected but was tons of fun and i loved how it tied in themes of fairytales and childhood stories. Jacob was an excellent scare actor and kept us on our toes!

There was no AC or airflow in the room which make it a bit uncomfortable - even when asked if they could turn on a fan, they said there was none.
CarnivalThe 13th RoomHauntHaunted houseWhile the concept was interesting and there were a couple of aspects that had very much promise, the overall execution of this haunt could have been much better. There were two scare actors that really set the vibe and continued to be creepy throughout the experience, but outside of that there were no scares, unfortunately. The storyline was pretty decent but the flow between the “rooms” was a bit poor at connecting them. The drinks at the bar were very good, though! Overall for the price I paid, even with a discount, this was not worth it. I don’t want to discourage the owners because they could have a VERY cool haunt if they put a little more love and energy into it, but where it’s at right now is not great.
Joker's AsylumOmescape - San JoseEscape roomIRLi’ve done a ton of complicated and hard escape rooms, and while this one is marketed as their “most difficult” room, it was just plain confusing and had little to no flow. It’s not enough to just put a bunch of random puzzles into a room and expect guests to make up a cohesive connection between them. The room attendants did not give clear clues and ended up confusing us more than anything. This room is very pretty and has a LOT of potential, but the current state of the gameplay is extremely lacking. Maybe in a year or so they can fine tune this room, but i would not recommend this room at this point in time.
