We just did this room (Family of 4 with 2 kids ages 10 and 12). We loved it!! I was really nervous when booking that the scary version would be too much for the 10 year old even though he loves scary things. They can accommodate you to tone it down if it seems to be too much for anyone but we didn’t end up needing that. We love escape rooms and this was our 1st with live actors or considered scary. The puzzles make sense with the story line but the action going on makes it harder to concentrate on the puzzles… however we found that to be really fun! Definitely will be trying others at this spot.

I say we escaped but the GM gave us an extra couple of minutes because we were very close (and they probably had a little extra time before the next group). We went as a group of 4. 2 parents and a 10 and 13 year old. This room definitely deserves the 5/5 on difficulty that it is rated! We really enjoyed it and highly recommend if you like a good challenge. This would be a great room for a few couples to do together because there are so many puzzles and you can split up to work on different ones at the same time. Some rooms get boring if there are too many adults but this one wouldn’t be that way. I would not say this is a good fit for someone new to escape rooms and I agree with the age recommendation of 12. It’s not an in appropriate theme but hard for younger kids to figure much out. It was our last one we had left at this location and our 10 year old has done a lot of rooms with us. He couldn’t solve much but still had a blast exploring the room and looking for clues!

Update: now that we’ve done every room at this location… I can say this one was our favorite :) We did this room without knowing it was the hardest at this location. It was just 2 adults and one 12 year old in our group and we escaped. We did have to split up what we were working on or wouldn’t have been done in time. Lots of fun and lots of thought went into making this room.

We really liked this room! We had 3 generations in our group and several were new to doing any rooms. Everyone had a great time. The beginning starts unlike others I’ve played and it’s good to be strategic with what you decide like split up experienced people! The gameplay was pretty smooth and made sense. It was well thought out.
