The Fortune Teller and the Freak ShowClockwork EscapesEscape roomIRLThe room itself was very detailed but the puzzles themselves were very arduous, time-consuming and frustrating and nothing flowed logically. Some things we couldn’t reach and it was annoying that there was only one monitor in the 2 rooms. The GM also kept giving us hints to things we already figured out. We will probably not return to this place.
The Candy ShopAmazing Escape Room - MontgomeryvilleEscape roomIRLThis one was a lot of fun—definitely the easiest of the 3 we’ve done at Montgomeryville so it’s a great room for beginners. We escaped with 12 minutes left and there never felt like a time we weren’t sure we could get out. I thought the puzzles were varied and a lot of fun for 3 people.

I could tell this was an older room but we still enjoyed it and managed to escape pretty quickly. I was expecting a big finish at the end because of the reviews but there wasn’t one—we didn’t even realize we had finished once we acquired the antidote. But it was a good game.
