Mission Galactique [Galactic Mission]Majestic Escape Game ParisEscape roomIRLTackled this room with two adults and two children during a family trip to Paris - it was the first room ever for both of the kids. Everyone loved it and now the kids are hooked! The set design and immersion were both excellent for this game. The actor interaction was super fun, and we really enjoyed the finale. There were some good surprises and clever interactions along the way. There was something here for everyone: even our ten year old, who isn't the best at puzzles, made some key contributions with his searching skills. I loved the physical aspects that really worked with the resistance spy theme. The game featured quite a bit of number translation, and with only one translation key available it made it tough to pursue separate tasks concurrently - this probably goes smoother with all adult players where communication is a bit easier. There was one minor technical glitch that happened but it didn't cause much of a problem in our game. Overall this game was terrific, it made a big impression on my family, and it's now one of my personal favourites!
Morela’s Dark FortunesCaptured Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLA ton of combination locks. Gameplay mostly consisted of figuring out some sequence of numbers or letters, and walking around randomly trying different locks until one opened. Things were really worn out, hinting was poor, and the room had not been reset correctly with some locks left open. Just a poor experience overall, I was really surprised for a room opened in 2024.
