Really enjoyed this room and will be trying to do the other rooms in the months that they are available. The set is fantastic and the puzzles all make complete sense even if they don’t immediately seem obvious.
The Dark ForestHorror StoriesEscape roomIRLThis was very immersive and one of the scariest games we’ve done. It takes the UKs scariest attractions and supercharges them. This is about fear of the dark more than other aspects.

Tom really pulled it off and from the moment we entered to the moment we left we were in his magical world and everything was on theme and exciting. Clearly a lot of love and effort has gone into this and if you like magic you’ll hopefully notice loads of nods and tributes to things form that world. You can tell that the owner really likes this theme and is into their magic and they’ve made this room their baby.
Grimm Up NorthEnigma Live Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLAbsolutely fantastic. This ranks up there with the best in the UK for us. Almost feels u fair to other escape owners to have this and seance in the same building - on the same floor even. The set is great, everything has a purpose. It flows well, things don’t feel like they’re taking forever and you get through things at a nice pace. Having the story and then the tokens is great and so is putting it at 75mins. Love this format. We got 12 tokens as well!

The puzzles aren’t too tricky and there’s one or two that stand out as clever/nice in terms of being a bit different. However, the theme is great and the decoration and nostalgia make it something special. There’s quite a lot of space used purely for the theme and to make both the start and finish a bit special too.

The thing that really made it stand out was the way the set was done so that you felt that no-one else had been there before. It felt undisturbed in decades. The level of thought, detail and tech behind the scenes in this game was incredible.
