Not only are the staff members friendly, but they are extremely professional, kind, and attentive as well. My boyfriend and I started on Chapter One today and were SO happy about our experience that we booked another session with them right away - especially because we are from out of town and can't go here as often as the locals. The difficulty of the puzzles were just the right amount of challenging - aka they were manageable, logical, and not impossible to solve. Additionally, I love how the "hints" are given in a different way - aka not a direct verbal hint, but there will be other "elements" in the game that push you towards the right direction. I also love how you can save your progress and revisit Off The Couch at any time - it truly makes this experience so much more enjoyable than a "rushed" 60 minute escape room session because you can come back to solve OTC at any time.
Jewel of the SeaIntrepid Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLI absolutely love the escape rooms at Intrepid Escape Rooms. I always find the puzzles to be challenging, creative, and unique. This one flowed fairly well and it was an easier room for my party of two, but we definitely took some moments to figure out certain puzzles. Definitely a memorable one for the books! Highly recommend this room.
Chapter 2: Norcross Art GalleryOff The Couch GamesEscape roomIRLMan, my heart was RACING between Chapter 1 and Chapter 2! The puzzles in Chapter 2 were definitely creative, challenging, and memorable, but my boyfriend and I were able to get through this chapter faster than Chapter 1. I will say that Chapter 2 definitely ranges between spooky & scary. If you get scared easily like me, you can consider the experience slightly scary in a way, but it was more spooky if anything. Very high quality production, props, live actors, music, dialogue, and storyline! Highly recommend.
Cosmic CrisisThe Escape Game - OrangeEscape roomIRLNot my favorite game by The Escape Game (only because I couldn’t solve most of the puzzles 🤣), but it was still very well done! The puzzles were definitely challenging and slightly different/unique than your typical escape room. I absolutely loved one of the group puzzles & I think you’ll know which one I’m talking about when you play this room.
Santa’s Naughty or Nice ListWild Goose Escapes - IrvineEscape roomIRLThis was our first Christmas themed escape room and it was definitely a memorable one for the books! I loved the festive holiday music playing in the background as we dug through Christmas themed props and more. All of the puzzles ranged in difficulty from easy to slightly challenging. We actually made really good traction in the beginning, but slowed down in the middle due to one confusing puzzle that we overanalyzed and stumped us 😂 Regardless, an amazing, unique, and cool room nevertheless. I definitely recommend trying this room out!
Prison BreakThe Escape Game - IrvineEscape roomIRLAbsolutely LOVED this escape room because of its unique elements. I love how there were a lot of physical clues in this game too! It was definitely a memorable experience and I always rave about Prison Break to my friends. My top escape room recommendation from this company! P.S. Sorry for the blurry group photo LOL.
Houdini60Out - Silver LakeEscape roomIRLNote: My boyfriend and I personally thought that this room was SPOOKY because of how dark it is and because of certain audio noises. As somebody who gets scared pretty easily, I got spooked somewhat often and don’t consider this a “not scary” escape room. Other than that, I absolutely LOVED this escape room! The Houdini theme was definitely on POINT with the props and puzzles in this escape room. It’s a somewhat challenging room for two people, but luckily we were able to escape with 1 hint (we’re very stubborn with accepting hints & try not to unless we absolutely need it 🤭) and 9 minutes to spare! All of the puzzles flowed pretty well and it was a lot of fun! I highly recommend trying this escape room out!
The DepthsThe Escape Game - OrangeEscape roomIRLI love love love The Escape Game escape rooms and it’s one of my favorite companies! I personally got frustrated because this room was much more difficult for me to solve than other rooms so I wasn’t able to contribute my help as much (LOL). I felt I overanalyzed a certain puzzle so I spent way more time than necessary on it. Overall, I will say that this escape room definitely had a few unique elements to it (which I loved) so I’m giving it a thumbs up!
Game On: UNLOCKED ArcadeUNLOCKED: Escape RoomEscape roomIRLThe aesthetics of this particular escape room impressed me more than the photos online. If you love arcades, you will definitely enjoy this escape room! I will say that the puzzles were a bit on the more simple and less complex side to my surprise, as I’m used to more puzzles where you need to think outside-of-the-box. If anything, I was more impressed with how immersive the room was versus the actual puzzle solving part, which is why I’m giving it a thumbs up instead of a heart.
Elevate: SkyloungeWild Goose Escapes - IrvineEscape roomIRLI absolutely LOVED this escape room and I love Wild Goose Escapes in general! An escape room of being trapped in an elevator is a really cool concept - I originally feared it would but boring, but it was very fun and interactive. Loved all of the puzzles - highly recommend!
