The RowAlcatraz Escape Games - Phoenix ArizonaEscape roomIRLFull disclosure- I played this room a while back so some things might’ve changed since then! So out of all the Alcatraz rooms this one was my least favorite- but it was still fun! Puzzles were moderately difficult, and there are some unique aspects to it (I.e. actor that helps out during the game). It’s immersion is simple but works for the room’s story
Secrets Of The PharaohAlcatraz Escape Games - Phoenix ArizonaEscape roomIRLLove love LOVE this room! This is my fav at Alcatraz- very immersive, the puzzle difficulty level increases through the room which I thought was cool. No physical locks in the room which again just adds to that level of immersion that I love. This room is definitely in my top 5 rooms I’ve played!
The Fortune TellerLost GamesEscape roomIRLThis is not an escape room in the traditional sense, they call it a “theatrical experience” and if you keep that in mind during the game play this room will be extremely fun. With that being said, I did come here to solve puzzles. The game is broken into parts- actor will give you a task to complete and you complete it. Usually giving you three puzzles at a time to solve, but because you’re trying to discover a larger mystery in the game you only have a set amount of time to solve them. It felt like the puzzles were more dependent on the story, so you didn’t need to solve all of the puzzles that were given. Which was unfortunate. You were able to go back and redo the ones that you didn’t initially finish but it did feel like there were others we weren’t able to experience because of that.
