It's been such a long time since the first room of the series, but this one was enjoyable. I'm not a huge fan of horror but this one wasn't too scary but still immersive. Puzzles were a tad bit on the easier side, and we one of the puzzles actually broke while we were inside. Luckily, the owners helped us rebook so we could finish the room properly. Good for beginners but I'd pass for an intermediate/veteran player.
Blackwell ManorNew Mexico Escape Room - McLeod LocationEscape roomIRLThe first truly immersive escape room I experienced in New Mexico. I've done this room multiple times just to watch others do it. The puzzles I have to admit are very easy. The immersion, story and set design is the biggest plus to this room. Especially for someone like me, who scares easily, I was thoroughly entertained. I'd recommend this as an introduction to escape rooms. Kept me wanting more; I hope they make a room like this but harder.

Some of the riddles are a bit silly, our host gave us hints without prompted which was rather unfavorable. Some great innovative tech for the Jumanji theme. Overall, great use of space and a great homage to the film.

We were not given "hints" but more "technical notes" which feels like could be avoided if some of the tech was updated. Experienced escape room players will find this one a tad bit mundane, but overall a good experience.
