End of the Line!Escapades - Norton AveEscape roomIRLI hate to give bad reviews on rooms. We did not escape, nor did we expect to, considering a 5-8% escape rate. But here is why the negative review. A few puzzles in this room are very time consuming, which is less about solving the puzzle and more just spending a really long time solving something. You know the info you need, you just can’t get the info quickly, no matter what you do. If you mess up, you have to review all the info again. I would guess that’s the number one cause for not escaping. So less about brains and puzzle solving, and more your ability to quickly do math. Add to that, on one of those puzzles, the info was duplicated and we didn’t immediately catch that. So we were using ALL the info given, when we only needed half. I hope that’s cryptic enough to not give anything away. We have done 60+ rooms, and haven’t escaped just 2 others. Right before this room, we set the record at another place in their hardest room. So we’re not terrible. But this room didn’t feel stellar to us. Feel free to disagree! These are our thoughts. :)
