Budapest ExpressEscapology - FairfaxEscape roomIRLMy wife and I have been doing escape rooms for years and have come to love the rooms at Escapology but this one was subpar altogether. The single room made it confusing on where to even start. That combined with the instructions of “some clues shouldn’t be moved from their original location” made us feel like we couldn’t move anything. Combined with one of the clues being broken (the picture - we understand why but it should have been noted), this game was a mess. It felt like there was no rhyme or reason to anything. We felt overwhelmed from the beginning. And felt like we wasted $100 on a date night. The room itself was really cool but the puzzle was not. If you come to Escapology, do the Scooby Doo room or the Lost City. Both are excellent rooms.
