Knights TemplarEclipse EscapeEscape roomIRLWe did the advanced version of Knights Templar and found it really fun and satisfying. The change of decor as the game progressed was very well executed. We thoroughly enjoyed the mix of puzzles involved in this room, which included logic and observation. The finale included a small end-of-story reveal which our group always appreciates (as opposed to just having the game master walk in to say “you did it”). Our game master was Sophie who was really kind and easy to talk with. Our group will definitely look to return to Eclipse when we can.
The Magic MoonstoneEclipse EscapeEscape roomIRLOur first experience at Eclipse. The spaciousness of the opening room gave us breathing room plus ample space in which to solve the puzzles. The decor and theming were fantastic. The props used in puzzle solving were quite thematic and very pleasing to work with. I understand that the larger space of this room can accommodate more people than most escape rooms, but I would recommend this to regular (2-6) sized groups as well. Larger group sizes would work for the team-building, but if you are the type of enthusiast who likes to have a hand in (or at least observe) all the puzzles then stick to your regular sized group.
The DollhousePadlock'd Escape roomIRLI found most of the puzzles very satisfying to complete. I was definitely affected sometimes by the creepy theme and needed some hints to puzzles which I feel I could have otherwise solved, but this is a good thing in hindsight. I would guess that players more resistant to scary and creepy themes would get through this room fairly easily.
Paradise PrisonPadlock'd Escape roomIRLClearly designed as an introduction to escape rooms, to entice tourists in the tourist hub to try an escape room then hopefully upselling them onto further experiences at Padlockd’s main facility -which is a great thing! Although I would guess that many experienced escapers would find this room very easy and be left wanting more. Still a fun theme and very enjoyable puzzles.
